Staying active as a stay at home mom

Two women cookingImage via WikipediaToday, the stay-at-home mom is a dying breed, finding fulfillment and contentment in this difficult decision is a struggle, but with the right sense of humor, and your families best interest at heart, you can survive this . To keep from being the couch potato, bon-bon eating diva, finding things to do shouldn't be a problem with any active family.     Hey Dawn!

    Thanks for the comment on my blog (www.ladaisi.blogspot.com) - I must say you've posted the most helpful blog advice I've received since beginning. I copied it all and pasted it on to a sticky note so I'd make sure I wouldn't forget anything! This may be a ridiculous question at this point - but how do I go about linking up to other blogs?

    I am now following your Family And Relationship blog as well as your Home and Living blog - I love them both! You have so much useful advice and tips! This post in particular - I'm currently a stay-at-home mom, just finished college but in-between grad school and jobs. So I've been going a little nutty. ;) But I love having the opportunity to spend so much time with my kiddo.

    Can't wait to keep reading!

Lets face it, we all have the yearning to always give our children everything they need and want, but to do so well beyond the childhood years is ridiculous. Come up with a plan - Start teaching your children early on what you expect out of them. By the time your child is out of high school, they should have a plan in mind for life. Talking and connecting with your teen

Parenting is one of the single most rewarding, yet difficult jobs there are. When they are young, you spend your time teaching, and keeping them safe. As they grow and need you less, you find yourself somehow feeling a disconnect. Teen years are a painful mixture of emotions, hormones, and pressure. Discipline for your Children

It typically meant corporal punishment which could involve the hand, a belt, or a switch from a tree outside. Parents from that time operated on the belief that you mustn't spoil the child by sparing the rod. While considered abuse by today's standards, it was a different time, and no one truly knows for sure whether those tactics were effective in a positive way or not.
